Brand Guide · v1.0 · October 2026
One brand, used consistently
Everything you need to represent Governful, PROA and MANA accurately: official logos, colors, typography, usage rules and approved taglines. If you are producing something for press, a partner or a client, start here.
Our wordmark
The Governful wordmark is our primary logo. Use the dark version on light backgrounds and the white version on dark backgrounds. Both are vector SVGs, so they stay sharp at any size.
PROA and MANA
Each product has a full logo (mark plus wordmark) and a standalone mark. Files marked light backgrounds are black artwork; files marked dark backgrounds are white artwork. PNGs are transparent.
PROA
MANA
+
Showing them together
PROA and MANA are complementary, so place them side by side with equal visual weight. The MANA wordmark is wider, so set it slightly shorter than PROA so the two look optically matched, as shown here.
Gold and ink
Our palette is deliberately simple: a confident gold set against near-black and white. Click any value to copy it. Use RGB for screens and CMYK for print. We have not locked an official Pantone spot color; ask your printer to match HEX #EBBF00.
Primary
Governful Gold
Primary accent. Buttons, highlights, key numbers and eyebrow lines.
Ink
Primary dark. Headlines, dark sections and the wordmark.
White
Primary background, and text on dark.
Print: CMYK values above are approximations converted from HEX. For critical print work, proof against a physical sample of Governful Gold (#EBBF00). Pantone will be published when brand locks a spot color.
Supporting
Gold Dark
Hover states and accents on light backgrounds.
Gold Deep
Small gold text on white, for readable contrast.
Gold Light
Soft tints, badges and callout backgrounds.
Stone
Alternate section background.
Body Text
Paragraph text on light backgrounds.
Muted
Captions and secondary labels.
Line
Borders and dividers.
Ink Soft
Cards and borders on dark backgrounds.
Gold gradient
Used in the logo and for select hero details. Never for body text or large backgrounds. Angle 135°. RGB stops:
Accessibility: gold text on white does not meet contrast guidelines. Use Ink text on a gold background, or Gold Deep for small gold text on white.
Favicon, social and app icons
Use these sizes when the logo appears in browsers, social cards and product chrome. Prefer the standalone marks for tiny spaces.
- Favicon: 16×16 and 32×32 PNG or ICO. Use the Governful mark (the gold square), not the full wordmark.
- Standalone marks: at least 24 px tall on screen for PROA, MANA and Governful marks in nav, avatars and tight UI.
-
Open Graph / social: default share image is
og-default.jpgat 1024×537. Keep logos clear of edges; leave roughly 10% safe margin. - App / avatar: center the mark in a square with padding equal to at least 12% of the canvas on each side.
- Don’t set the full Governful wordmark as a favicon or app icon. It will be illegible below about 100 px wide.
Geist
Geist is our typeface for headlines, body copy and interface text. Geist Mono handles small labels and technical details. Both are free and open source from Google Fonts. When Geist is unavailable, fall back to Segoe UI, Arial or the system sans-serif.

How we sound
Governful speaks like a careful partner to government leaders: plain, confident and specific. We explain what the product does without hype.
Do
- Prefer short, concrete sentences. Say what the system does and who it helps.
- Use American English spelling (organization, center, authorize) unless a product locale requires otherwise.
- Name PROA and MANA clearly, and keep Governful as the company that builds them.
- Lead with outcomes governments care about: trust, accuracy, continuity, less manual work.
Don’t
- Don’t use filler (“in today’s landscape”, “seamless”, “robust”, “leverage”) or stacked hedges.
- Don’t invent taglines or rewrite approved lines with different capitalization.
- Don’t write “GovernFul”, “Proa” or “Mana” in running text.
- Don’t over-promise AI. Describe what the tools support, not miracles.
Photos and product shots
Imagery should show the product, the place of work, or real context for government operations. Decorative gradients alone are not enough.
- Prefer real UI screenshots of PROA or MANA, cropped cleanly with honest data (or clearly labeled sample data).
- When showing people, choose calm, professional scenes. Natural light and neutral environments work best.
- Gold is an accent, not a wash. Keep large photo areas mostly neutral; use gold for UI chrome and highlights.
- Don’t place logos on busy photos or low-contrast backgrounds.
- Don’t use generic stock that could belong to any SaaS brand after the logo is removed.
- Don’t add glow effects, heavy filters or collage frames around product UI.
Simple, consistent marks
Icons support the products; they are not a second logo system. Keep them geometric, readable at small sizes, and aligned with our type labels.
- Use simple geometry, even stroke weights and square optical alignment with Geist Mono labels.
- Draw icons in Ink on light surfaces, or white on dark. Gold is reserved for selected active or accent states.
- Match corner radius and padding across a set so icons feel like one family.
- Don’t use emoji as brand or product icons.
- Don’t mix filled, outlined and duotone styles in the same row without a clear system.
- Don’t recolor product marks (PROA/MANA) into arbitrary brand colors.
Using our logos correctly
These rules apply to the Governful, PROA and MANA logos alike. When in doubt, keep it simple and give the logo room.
Clear space
Keep a margin around every logo at least equal to the height of the logo itself (shown by the dashed line). Nothing else should enter this space.
Minimum size
- Governful wordmark: at least 100 px wide on screen, 1 inch in print.
- PROA and MANA logos: at least 80 px wide on screen, 0.75 inch in print.
- Marks on their own: at least 24 px tall on screen. Use for favicons, avatars and tight spaces.
Do
- Use the dark logo on white, Stone or light gold backgrounds, and the white logo on Ink or other dark backgrounds.
- Use the original files provided on this page, and scale them proportionally.
- Keep the Governful wordmark as the primary identity. PROA and MANA appear as products of Governful.
- Show PROA and MANA at balanced sizes when they appear together.
Don’t
- Stretch, squash, rotate, skew or crop the logo.
- Recolor the logo, or place the dark logo on a dark background.
- Add drop shadows, outlines, glows or other effects.
- Place the logo on busy photos or low-contrast backgrounds that hurt legibility.
- Redraw, retype or rearrange the wordmark and marks, or combine them with other logos in a single lockup.
Product misuse
PROA and MANA follow the same rules as Governful. These mistakes show up often with the product marks.
Partner lockups
When Governful appears next to a partner or agency mark, keep both logos readable and independent. Never merge them into one wordmark.
- Keep clear space around each logo at least equal to the height of that logo.
- Place logos side by side with a thin divider or generous gap. Match optical height, not raw pixel height.
- Governful, PROA or MANA should not look smaller than about 70% of the partner mark’s height unless the partner is the primary host brand.
- Don’t combine marks into a single lockup, monogram or shared container.
- Don’t recolor either logo to “match” the partner palette.
- Don’t stack partner and Governful logos so close that clear space is broken.
What we say
Use these lines exactly as written, with the same capitalization and punctuation. Don’t abbreviate or create variations.
We exist to build trustworthy, modern systems for governments of every size. As a Benefit Corporation, we invest in our people and our products over profits.
Governful is a U.S. Benefit Corporation building trustworthy, modern systems for governments of every size. Our products are PROA, a fully integrated AI-powered platform for Finance, HR, Revenue & Tax, and MANA, an AI layer for the systems governments already run.
Naming
- Write Governful, PROA and MANA as shown. PROA and MANA are always all capitals.
- Describe PROA and MANA as complementary: each stands on its own and they work even better together.
- Don’t write “GovernFul”, “Governful, Inc.” or “Proa” and “Mana” in running text.
